Invitation to Submit

LANET 2027 invites original contributions in all areas of network science, from physics and computer science to biology, the humanities and the social sciences.

LANET 2027 is an abstract-only conference. There is no full-paper track: all contributions are submitted as extended abstracts and reviewed by the programme committee.

LANET 2027 is particularly committed to supporting early-career researchers and students from Latin American institutions.

Submission Format

Extended Abstracts

  • Length
    A maximum of 2 pages, including references.
  • Figure
    Every abstract must include at least one image.
  • Language
    English (preferred), Spanish or Portuguese. Accepted work is presented in the language it was submitted in.
Presentation

Types of Presentation

Accepted contributions are allocated a format by the programme committee, based on the review outcome and the shape of the programme.

  • Oral Presentation
    A full-length talk within a themed session of contributed talks.
  • Poster Presentation
    Presented during the dedicated poster sessions, with time set aside for discussion.
  • Lightning Presentation
    A short talk introducing the work to the whole conference in a few minutes.

Review

Review Process

All submissions will undergo blind peer review by members of the programme committee, evaluated on originality, technical quality, clarity, and relevance.

Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to register for the conference and present their work in person. All accepted contributions will be included in the conference book of abstracts.
